Earth : Englewood Park Salem

Celebrate a century of community at Englewood Park while giving back for Earth Month! Join SOLVE and Salem Parks and Recreation as we prepare this beloved neighborhood park for its 100th anniversary. Volunteers will roll up their sleeves to help with a variety of projects that keep the park welcoming and beautiful, including litter removal, invasive plant removal, spreading fresh woodchips, and painting.

This is a great opportunity to give back, meet neighbors, and make a lasting impact in Salem. All ages and experience levels are welcome—training, tools, and supplies will be provided. Come help us get Englewood Park ready to celebrate 100 years of community care during Earth Month!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gloves, vests, bags, grabbers, and all necessary tools.

Restrooms: There will be a portable restroom on-site.

Parking: There is street parking available in the neighborhoods nearby, particularly on 19th or 20th St.

Transit: Not available nearby.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
