Job Description

Join our team as a Welder, where you will work with conveyor equipment and gearboxes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns. Experience with MIG welding in fabrication and maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate equipment as needed.

• Repair structural members or parts using various welding techniques.

• Fabricate parts based on job scope or projects.

• Operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts.

• Gather and analyze information to solve problems.

• Inspect equipment and materials for defects.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

• Experience with MIG welding and maintenance.

• Experience working on conveyor belts and troubleshooting issues.

• Ability to work comfortably outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience working on gearboxes.

• Electrical knowledge (12/24V) is a plus.

• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Ability to read mechanical prints.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
