$20.26 to $21.90 per hour

• Perform custodial duties across the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training building, including cleaning windows, doors, glass, and loading dock area.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, drinking fountains, vending machines, elevator buttons, and break room facilities.
• Empty trash receptacles, restock dispensers, and manage recycling location.
• Strip, wax, and clean hard‑surface floors and carpets as requested.
• Sweep, damp‑mop, vacuum, and dust hard floors, stairwells, and office space.
• Set up and tear down event seating, tables, and trash cans for graduations, meetings, and agency events.
• Perform weather‑related duties during inclement weather.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals.

• Minimum age 18 and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating equipment similar to custodial duties.
• Physical ability to push/pull heavy equipment, lift up to 60lb, and work on cement, tile, and carpeted surfaces for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand or walk, and climb as required.

• Must maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License.
• Must pass a CJIS clearance check.

• Experience in a hospitality, hotel, or hospital setting.
• Professional cleaning experience in floor care (carpet, linoleum, wood, slate).
• Experience with a variety of janitorial equipment and chemicals.
• Experience working around public safety personnel.
• Highly motivated, positive attitude, customer‑service oriented.

Physical labor: standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, climbing. Shift times vary between 6:00a.m. and 9:00p.m. May include outside work during inclement weather. Use of cleaning chemicals daily.
