1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor (Monday – Friday with OT as needed 6:00am - 4:30pm)

Join our team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. • Previous hands‑on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming
• Excellent reading, writing and math skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent organizational and mechanical skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic computer skills using Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies
• Willingness to work off‑shift hours as needed

• Direct the maintenance workforce and provide on‑site expertise
• Ensure that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner
• Review work planning and scheduling with the production planner
• Ensure quality of work adhering to all safety standards
• Ensure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan
• Work with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator’s performed maintenance duties are facilitated
• Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned
• Enforce environmental regulations
• Focus on downward and be highly visible in the field
• Champion proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance
• Administer encouragement and discipline to direct employees
• Monitor the CMMS
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Work with procurement and external vendors for the purchase of supplies, parts, and obtaining competitive bids for equipment
• Monitor shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors
• Develop standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages
• Manage the maintenance team’s maintenance budget
