Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to ensure the classrooms, offices, and common areas are in good order on a year-round basis. Part‑time evening hours Monday – Friday.
Must positively interact with constituents (student, faculty, and staff); assist with other duties within the maintenance and operations department as necessary and as needed; self‑motivated, able to make assessments on the fly with little supervision.
ExperiencePrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred with specific knowledge in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Specific SkillsIndividual must be self‑sufficient, responsible, reliable, thorough and take pride in their work. May require lifting items in excess of 50 pounds.
Salary RangeClassified Pay Schedule Range 12: $15.44 – $16.38 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
