Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to ensure the classrooms, offices, and common areas are in good order on a year‑round basis. Individual must be able to positively interact with constituents (students, faculty, and staff); assist with other duties within the maintenance and operations department as necessary and as needed; must be self‑motivated, able to make assessments on the fly with little supervision.
ExperiencePrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred with specific knowledge in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Specific SkillsIndividual must be self‑sufficient, responsible, reliable, thorough, and take pride in their work. May require lifting items in excess of 50 pounds.
Salary RangeClassified Pay Schedule 10: $14.55 to $15.45 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
