Duties

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to keep classrooms, offices, and common areas in good order on a year-round basis. Hours are Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Requires positive interaction with constituents (students, faculty, and staff), assistance with other duties in maintenance and operations as needed, self-motivation, quick assessment with minimal supervision.

Experience

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, with specific knowledge in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Specific Skills

Self-sufficient, responsible, reliable, thorough, takes pride in work. May require lifting items in excess of 50 pounds.

Salary Range

Classified Pay Schedule 12: $15.44 – $16.38 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
