Custodian

Maintain cleanliness of the shop and office spaces daily while striving for a perfect 5S concept score.

Essential

Job Duties:

• Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using standard or industrial equipment
• Empties recycling and trash receptacles daily and removes the contents to appropriate dumpsters
• Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes/cleans walls, doors, glass, windows, ceilings
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas as required
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, carpets, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• May also sweep walks or perform other incidental seasonal tasks when required
• Keeps lunchroom area surfaces and appliances clean and free from stains, including floors, tabletops, counters
• Participate in upholding 5 S standards

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED with 1 – 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $23.00/hr
