Full-Time & Part-Time Environmental Services Pay and Benefits
- Pay rate: discussed upon interview
- Daily Pay available - access earned pay on a daily basis prior to normal payday
- Benefit eligibility starts after 30 days of employment, including insurance and PTO
- Additional Pay: $2.00 extra per hour in lieu of benefits
The Environmental Services teammate is responsible for maintaining assigned areas of the facility by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping duties. This role helps ensure Trinity Oaks Retirement remains safe, clean, attractive, and presentable while supporting our high standards for resident care, customer service, and environmental cleanliness.
Essential Functions- Clean, dust, and maintain assigned resident rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other spaces as directed.
- Dry mop, sweep, and remove floor debris from assigned areas.
- Empty and clean trash containers and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, surfaces, and assigned touchpoints.
- Clean walls, chrome fixtures, equipment, and assigned areas according to facility standards.
- Remove and properly dispose of all floor debris
- Report needed repairs, maintenance concerns, light bulb replacements, safety hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly.
- Help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, visitors, teammates, and staff.
- Understand and use emergency equipment as necessary and follow facility safety procedures.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and demonstrate respect for privacy at all times.
- Interact courteously and professionally with residents, families, visitors, peers, and staff.
- Participate in required educational programs, training, and in-services.
- Uphold LSC's mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
- Complete other assigned duties as needed
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
- Familiarity with cleaning, housekeeping, or environmental services standards preferred.
- Good visual acuity, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous environmental/housekeeping experience preferred
- Good visual acuity and ability to communicate
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to climb small step ladders, stoop, and bend at the waist repeatedly
- Occasional outdoor exposure
- Possible exposure to blood and body fluids
- Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals
