The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees and supports associates by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. This role manages landscape maintenance, seasonal exterior activities, and equipment operation while providing technical guidance and coordinating resources to maintain facility quality. What you'll do
  • Supervise and support associates by assigning duties, providing feedback, and monitoring performance to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Train and coach associates on company policies, procedures, and compliance with external regulations such as OSHA and DOT.
  • Manage landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, pest control, and seasonal exterior tasks like snow and ice removal.
  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety checks and proper documentation are completed.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases, budget preparation, and maintenance to optimize facility operations and reduce costs.
  • Lead teamwork efforts to meet business priorities, promote continuous improvement, and uphold company values.
What you'll bring
  • Proven leadership experience supervising and developing associates in facility or exterior services.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and exterior maintenance practices.
  • Ability to operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.
  • Experience managing compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA and DOT.
  • Skilled in coordinating work activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Proficient in using technology to complete work orders and maintain documentation.
  • Competence in budgeting, purchasing, and managing supplies and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills to resolve facility-related issues.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00
