Poultry Vaccination Lead

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
• Good organizational skills and ability to work and communicate well with others
• Physical type work is a demand
• Ability to prepare work schedules and adjust to sudden changes in workloads
• Background check will be performed as stated in the Aviagen Employee Handbook

• Work flexible hours and be on call 24/7
• Ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by the crew
• Manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards
• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in chicken houses
• Ensure biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water‑vac pumps, etc.
• Do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps
• Health & Safety of employees is a major part of job duties
