Distribution Specialist - Salt Lake City
Specialized is looking for full-time teammates to join our Distribution Center in Salt Lake City. Our full-time schedule requires daytime availability Monday through Friday, targeting 40 hours/week with some variability depending on workload and seasonal demands.
This role requires attention to detail, a team-oriented and upbeat attitude, and the desire to learn and grow. Please see additional job duties and requirements below.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Completing all tasks related to warehouse distribution including: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, stocking and other tasks as assigned by Distribution Center leadership
- Working in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment that values teamwork and efficiency
- Using a variety of order-processing technology to complete daily workloads
- Learning new skills and applying them within different warehouse departments when needed
- Partnering with different departments outside of the warehouse, such as sales and technical services, to best serve our riders
- Completing annual training sessions to remain current in skills, knowledge, and any licensing or certifications
What You Need To Win
- Comfortability working on your feet, standing and walking in excess of 8 hours/day
- Fulfilling orders by manually pulling product from shelving up to 6 feet in height, repeated bending and lifting required
- Equipment and accessories lifting requirement up to 45 lbs.
- Bike (including e-bikes) lifting requirement up to 88 lbs.
- Occasional Saturday shifts and overtime hours are required
- Reading, writing and basic math skills
- Value cross-training and inter-departmental fluidity and partnership
- Basic digital literacy, and the willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to earn power equipment certification
