Assembler - Rework; SLC

Description:
Position Summary Visual inspection and rework of product returned through quality inspection.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
? Keep work area clean
? Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment
? Perform tasks with the assistance of microscopes
? Perform functional product testing as required
? Document the quantity of parts inspected
? Weigh count, package and label finished product
? Perform simple operation involves a repetitive simple task, typically with a single step

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
? Able to read and understand procedures
? Able to perform quality checks, looking for defects such as splits, flash, loose debris, and the ability to discern letters or numbers at a given distance.

Education and Experience
? High school diploma or equivalent
? 0-6 months experience

Minimum Qualifications
? Must be 18 years of age Travel Requirements
? Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
? This job operates in a clean room environment
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for the duration of the shift
? Must be able to repetitively move and lift objects of up to 20 lbs
? Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
? Will Use solvents, glue, or solder
? Must be able to perform visual inspections with and without the aid of magnification tools
