We are looking for a Scheduler, Surface Mine Maintenance to support the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling team at Rio Tinto Kennecott. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in supporting one of the world's largest open-pit copper mining operations. Working within Surface Mine Maintenance, you will help optimize the performance and reliability of critical mobile mining equipment, including production shovels and blast hole drills.

By coordinating maintenance activities, balancing resources, and developing practical maintenance schedules, you will directly contribute to safe operations, improved equipment availability, and operational efficiency. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with maintenance teams, operations, contractors, and technical specialists while building expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, asset management, and continuous improvement within a world-class mining environment.

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Proven track record of industrial maintenance experience
• Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience
• SAP experience
• Previous project experience
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Analytical and reporting capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
