Part-Time Evening Custodian – City Academy

Position Type: Part-Time (15 hours/week)

Schedule: Evening hours (flexible start between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

City Academy is seeking a dependable and thorough Part-Time Custodian to keep our school campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. This role is ideal for anyone seeking consistent evening hours in a supportive educational environment.

• Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish paper goods and soap dispensers daily.
• Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building and transport waste to dumpsters.
• Building Security: Secure exterior doors and windows at the end of the shift and set the security alarm upon leaving.
• Seasonal Tasks: Perform light floor care, seasonal deep cleaning, and basic maintenance support as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous commercial or school custodial/cleaning experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality.
• Must pass a background check prior to employment.
