As the hotel and conference center on the University of Utah campus, we are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences through safe, reliable, and well-maintained facilities. This entry-level maintenance position assists with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, room preparation, inspections, and general upkeep in guest rooms, public spaces, conference facilities, and other areas managed by the University Guest House & Conference Center.

The position regularly works with maintenance team members, Guest House employees, and guests to help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready. Candidates should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing assigned tasks independently after receiving appropriate training. Flexibility is essential. Work schedules may vary based on hotel occupancy, conference activity, special events, and departmental needs, with shifts primarily scheduled during evenings, weekends, and holidays
