Housekeeper - Encore SoFlo - San Antonio, TX

Position Overview

Valiant Residential is seeking a Housekeeper who will be responsible for cleaning vacant units in preparation for marketing and occupancy, as well as common areas, offices, and model units. The housekeeper reports to maintenance or the business manager and works closely with the maintenance staff.

• Cleans the property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and property common areas on a defined schedule.
• Cleans vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy.
• Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Assists with inventory control.
• Performs job duties using safety guidelines and reports obstacles to doing so.
• Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Makes ready units for new move‑ins, checks appliances and informs Lead Maintenance of problems.
• Creates keys when necessary.
• Inspects bathroom tiles and performs minor repairs and replacements.
• Changes A/C filters.
• Operates carpet‑cleaning equipment to clean carpets.
• Lends assistance during trash‑out of the apartment, e.g., moving heavy or bulky items to the dumpster.

• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to professionally represent the company.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work on call, after‑hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Social skills to interact with residents.

• Can sit, stand, climb, and stoop for up to 8 hours or more if needed.
• Can walk the property for up to 8 hours in various weather conditions.
• Can climb stairs.
• Can lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
