As a Janitorial Associate, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of patient care areas, administrative areas, ancillary support areas, rest rooms, and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support.

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Prepare the Environmental Service carts for assigned area.
• Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas including rooms for incoming patients.
• Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
• Apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.

• Must read, speak, and understand English.
• Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.
