As a key member of our leadership team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. Maintenance Director is an essential role in our organization, and we are looking for a professional who shares our commitment to Exceptional Care, Compassionate Hearts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling and supervising maintenance staff
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality of work
- Manage and maintain all aspects of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall resident satisfaction
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and building systems
- Budget and manage maintenance expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting quality and safety standards
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, construction) preferred
