The Housekeeping Grounds Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall condition of all resort grounds and exterior spaces. This position oversees daily grounds operations, supervises grounds attendants, and ensures that landscaping, public areas, villa surroundings, walkways, recreational spaces, and other exterior resort areas meet Hyatt service and presentation standards. The supervisor works closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Resort Operations teams to provide guests with a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of Grounds Attendants and project team members.
• Ensure all exterior resort areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Oversee maintenance of landscaped areas, walkways, courtyards, pool surroundings, villa grounds, lagoon areas, and other outdoor public spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort grounds and identify corrective actions.
• Coordinate seasonal projects, special events, and property beautification initiatives.
• Assign work schedules and prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Train, coach, and mentor grounds team members on safety procedures, equipment use, and service standards.
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; recommend purchases as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental practices.
• Respond promptly to guest and colleague concerns related to grounds and exterior maintenance.
• Partner with Engineering and Housekeeping leadership to address maintenance needs and elevate overall property presentation.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping support, or related hospitality operations.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of grounds care practices, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items consistent with job requirements.
