Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

SYNC Residential is hiring a Housekeeper with keen attention to detail to join our service team at an upcoming acquisition in the 78233 area code! This 300+ unit, Class A, Garden Style community was built in 2017 and offers modern, elevated finishes with resort-style amenities.

• Cleaning all community common areas and amenity spaces to ensure peak readiness and presentation
• Refreshing all model and vacant units as scheduled for touring
• Cleaning all cooking areas including indoor and outdoor community kitchens, lounges, and grilling stations
• Ensuring all public restrooms are clean and well stocked throughout the day
• Monitoring and replacing all air fresheners and light bulbs are in proper working order
• Assisting in the make ready process as needed

• Cleans and picks up trash from around trash dumpster, ensuring a clean and tidy appearance at all times
• Cleans and arranges furniture and trash receptacles in pool area(s). Possesses pool operator’s certificate. Tests chemical level of pool water on daily basis and checks to maintain proper chemical balance. Follows manufacturer’s directions for use of company-supplied materials and equipment.
• Cleans and maintains club facilities in an orderly, presentable and decorative fashion.
• Maintains cleanliness of office and all other amenity and common area facilities assuring general cleanliness of grounds, laundry rooms, walkways, streets, driveways, parking lots, entrances, foyers, breezeways, recreational areas, etc. May perform exterior building light checks and assist with repairs and replacement of same.
• Thoroughly cleans out vacated apartments designated by supervisor and prepares same for make-ready and re-renting, including carpet repairs, dyeing and shampooing as needed.
• Incorporates both safety and customer service in the performance of all job duties.
• Maintains consistent and punctual attendance record.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

• High school graduate or GED
• Previous apartment housekeeping or janitorial experience is highly preferred
• Valid Driver's License

Performs routine tasks, normally repetitive in nature, required to effectively sustain a peak level of cleanliness and neatness of the property’s physical appearance and curb appeal. Responsible daily for picking up and cleaning the entire community exterior including amenities and common areas using company-supplied materials and equipment and following manufacturer’s directions for same. Ensures peak appearance of the property exterior at all times.

Provides non-technical support to other on-site staff positions. This is a line position with indirect impact on company funds.
