Job Title

Molding Maintenance Technician

$25- $33/hr (depending on experience)

San Clemente, CA 92673

Direct Hire

Monday through Friday 6:00AM to 3:00PM

• Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain existing mechanical systems and associated equipment including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc.
• Follow specific detailed operational instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations
• Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports
• Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and educate/train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance
• Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment
• Support the Facilities Function as needed
• Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be prepared for variable schedules, nights, weekends, and additional hours as necessary

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 4 years of relevant work experience in injection molding or related field (preferably with Arburg and Engel Injection Presses)
• Experience working independently on PLC programming, basic troubleshooting, and familiar with automation controls
• Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and scientific methods
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered equipment
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
