** what you get to do:
*** maintain general purpose lock shop
* perform preventive maintenance on all locking devices
* process work orders as related to park locks/security
* maintain key authorization contracts/lists for all parks
* maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
* provide support services to all department in matters of physical security, as related to locking hardware and mechanisms
** what it takes to succeed:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* possess a locksmith certification and have experience with best locking system
* valid state driver’s license and able to obtain a company driver’s license
* able to complete provided cpr training/certification
* comfortable working around animals
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* able to kneel, bend, and maneuver in tight spaces
* able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
* able to lift 30 pounds
* able to push/pull 50 pounds
* strong computer skills
* working knowledge of all microsoft office applications
* previous experience as a locksmith in a multi-site and complex work environment
** what else is important:*
* * must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
* position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
* perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
* must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
* perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
* work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
* must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
