Missions

Under the authority of the management of the educational institution, control the execution of all first-level maintenance work (all trades) for buildings, equipment, and outdoor spaces of the institution. Control the maintenance of premises. Supervise the maintenance team and the local maintenance team. Follow the interventions of companies within the institution for specialized first-level work. Supervise first-level maintenance (all trades) of buildings, equipment, and outdoor spaces on a curative and preventive basis.

Control the maintenance of premises and non-built surfaces. Participate in the execution of first-level maintenance work. Manage the technical means of maintenance and service departments. Participate in the management of fire and intrusion alarm systems. Apply and enforce safety rules and guidelines. Inform the hierarchy and report malfunctions. Supervise maintenance and local maintenance teams under the authority of the institution's management.

Knowledge and know-how Master the techniques of first-level maintenance work in one or more of the following specialties: fitting and coatings, green spaces and sports facilities, electrical, sanitary, and thermal installations Master manual and mechanized cleaning and disinfection procedures and techniques Know the functioning and maintenance techniques of various types of tools, machinery, and equipment Know the techniques of construction and programming of works Know the standards and technical regulations in force for first-level maintenance Know, apply, and enforce regulations on hygiene and safety Know the rules of stock management Know the rules for the conservation and use of dangerous products Have notions on the status of supervisory agents Know how to write documents (technical sheets, schedules, reports, etc.)

Master handling and postures Know how to organize and lead a team Master prevention and conflict management techniques Know the organization, functioning, and activities of educational institutions Master office tools (desirable: know how to use a stock management software) Have notions in budget management (cost calculation)
