Maintenance Manager - Mercy Gardens

Mercy Gardens, a 23-unit affordable community with on-site services for area individuals who have experienced homelessness in San Diego, CA. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. Part Time position (32 hours per week) with FULL TIME health care benefits! Pay: $28.00 - $29.56 Benefits:

Duties:
- Work with Property Manager to ensure that budgets are followed
- Meet unit turnover timelines
- Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure that preventative maintenance and maintenance contracts meet the best possible quality and expense standards.
Minimum Qualifications of Position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
- Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Skills:
- Legally operate a motor vehicle
- Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment.
- Define and solve problems.
- Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing.
- Present information to groups of people.
- Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
- Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
- Draft make working sketches.
- Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
- Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
