Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep on a variety of manufacturing equipment, working in the production area, and other systems within our facility that may include plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, both AC/DC voltage, and be capable of troubleshooting issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hazardous waste (alcohol & d-limonene) knowledge and be required to work with EHS team as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge with basic tools.
Essential Functions:
* Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work requests and inventory of supplies and parts.
* Collaborate with other members of the Facilities team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal and team safety during maintenance and repair tasks.
* Assist in the planning and execution of facility and manufacturing upgrades and renovations.
* Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures related to facility maintenance operations.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications (one of the following):
* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
* Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
* In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional
Skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance or operations repair, with a proven track record of hands-on experience.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
* Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate with vendors and contractors.
* Experience in Mycronic, Ersa, DEK, MPM equipment and other related manufacturing equipment.
* Experience with Pick and Place, X-Ray, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, and other related manufacturing equipment.
* Basic soldering skills. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater
D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $82,500 - $153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
