Job Title

SAN Utility Worker – Porter (Sky Chefs), San Diego, CA

Full‑time, Permanent. Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $25.00 up to $32.65 per hour. No medical insurance.

• Good attendance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible hours; 7 days a week, 24‑hour operation.
• Work shift of 8–12 hours; stand, walk, stoop, bend throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 25–70 lbs, push in excess of 70 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with moving parts, wet floors, hot, cold (38‑degree cold room when necessary).
• Work with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
• Basic math skills; comprehend verbal & written specifications in English.
• Minimum 18 years of age; eligible to work in the United States; pass background check.
• Union position – willing to pay union dues after 14 days.
• Available to work a full‑time position, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Complete the application/orientation process in English.

• Use floor machine to clean work areas, floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramp, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots, and pans.
• Empty trash and handle international garbage.
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.
• Operate autoclave.
• Assigned to dedicated departments.
