Manufacturing Shop Janitor

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Shop Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the manufacturing facility. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all employees.

• Clean and Maintain Facility:
  Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean windows, walls, and ceilings; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Sanitize Areas:
  Disinfect commonly used surfaces such as desks, door handles, and office tools; clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms.
• Waste Management:
  Empty trash and recycling bins; ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Supply Management:
  Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; restock bathrooms and supply closets as needed.
• Outdoor Maintenance:
  Maintain outdoor grounds, including cutting grass, trimming bushes, and removing debris from sidewalks.
• Minor Repairs:
  Perform minor repairs on cleaning equipment, and tools; replace air filters and maintain cleaning tools.
• Safety Compliance:
  Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions; follow all health and safety regulations.

• Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.

• Good physical stamina and strength.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
