Maintenance Supervisor
Location:
San Diego, CA Area
Compensation: $30–$36 per hour (based on experience), plus monthly performance bonus opportunities
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (On-Call Rotation Required)
What You Will Do
- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations for the apartment community
- Diagnose and complete service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion
- Oversee apartment turns, including scheduling, inspections, and quality control
- Supervise, coach, train, and support maintenance team members
- Maintain pools, grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards
- Coordinate vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and capital projects
- Ensure preventative maintenance programs are completed consistently
- Maintain inventory and order supplies while managing maintenance expenses
- Deliver exceptional customer service through professional communication with residents
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies
What You Will Bring
- Valid driver's license
- HVAC Certification (Required)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification (Required)
- Three or more years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
- Proven ability to lead, train, develop, and hold team members accountable
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Self-motivation, reliability, and exceptional attention to detail
- Lead maintenance operations for a large, high-performing apartment community
