Maintenance Supervisor

Location:
San Diego, CA Area

Compensation: $30–$36 per hour (based on experience), plus monthly performance bonus opportunities

Schedule:
Monday–Friday (On-Call Rotation Required)

What You Will Do

  • Lead and oversee all maintenance operations for the apartment community
  • Diagnose and complete service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
  • Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion
  • Oversee apartment turns, including scheduling, inspections, and quality control
  • Supervise, coach, train, and support maintenance team members
  • Maintain pools, grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and capital projects
  • Ensure preventative maintenance programs are completed consistently
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies while managing maintenance expenses
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through professional communication with residents
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies

What You Will Bring

  • Valid driver's license
  • HVAC Certification (Required)
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification (Required)
  • Three or more years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
  • Proven ability to lead, train, develop, and hold team members accountable
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Self-motivation, reliability, and exceptional attention to detail
