Healthcare Housekeeper and Per Diem

Pay Range: $21.00/hr. to $23/hr.

Work Site

Location:

11878 Avenue of Industry, San Diego, CA 92128

Full Time:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Per Diem:
Variable from 4:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

• Cleans floors in patient and non-patient areas
• Removes trash and waste from designated areas of the facility
• Maintains facility and furnishings in a clean and orderly fashion
• Adheres to the organization's safety and security policies and procedures
• Maintains documentation and records related to department operations

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for sustained period of time
• Walk, pull, lift objects from floor to higher position or horizontally from position to position, finger grasp; feel; sizes, shapes, temperatures, and textures, perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, or fingers
• Light work most of the time, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, 10 lbs. of force frequently, and occasionally medium work, that is exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years related experience in a hospital setting
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Experience in floor buffing, waxing, and scrubbing
