We are seeking a hands‑on, highly accountable Director of Maintenance to build and lead our property maintenance operations from the ground up. This person will elevate our operations and build it the right way — with strong systems, a great team, and a culture we’re proud of — ensuring work gets done quickly and right the first time.

As the company’s Responsible Managing Employee (RME), this position oversees Good Life’s residential maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction operations, and provides the technical and operational supervision required for our licensed construction activities. This role is a key leader connecting Property Management, Maintenance, vendors, and construction operations. This role supports a scattered-site portfolio — primarily condos, single‑family houses and small apartment buildings — spanning multiple locations.

• Oversee day-to-day residential maintenance, repair, renovation, and light construction operations across a variety of sites (condos, houses and small apartment buildings)
• Coordinate work assignments, schedules, resources, and project priorities
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex maintenance and construction issues
• Establish and enforce operational and workmanship standards
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved scope

• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team
• Lead maintenance technicians, dispatchers, and administrative support staff
• Set clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability structures
• Build a strong culture focused on professionalism, ownership, and improvement

• Own the maintenance experience for residents and property owners end-to-end
• Ensure work orders are completed efficiently, professionally, and with high quality
