AlmaVia of San Francisco - Janitor

Location: 1 Alma Via of San Francisco 1 1 Thomas More Way 11 San Francisco CA 94132

Hourly rate: $20.55 – $24.41 (DOE)

We are looking for a Janitor to support our assisted living and memory care community. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, supporting residents, and ensuring safety.

• Clean the common areas and other assigned areas.
• Work carefully, making sure to follow SDS, safety, and related regulations.
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment, and set up the work site before beginning the task.
• Keep common areas clean and orderly.
• Report and respond to resident requests and emergencies.
• Note any issues (grounds, building, or other) and address them with the relevant department if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of English language to take direction and ask questions as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule is highly preferred.
• Friendly customer service skills.
• Completion of a background check.
• Drug screen, physical, fingerprint, and/or TB test may be required in some communities/affiliates per state/local guidelines.
• Physical requirements:
  
  manual dexterity and the ability to work with required equipment and to perform physically active work for the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
