Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to facility maintenance at Burbank Housing apartment complexes in San Francisco. The role includes scheduling and supervising maintenance staff, interacting with Site Management to identify property needs, enforcing standards, and managing off‑hour emergencies.
Responsibilities- Paycom software
- Elise AI maintenance application
- Invoice coding and record keeping
- Proper cleaning techniques
- Supply management
- Tool safety and handling
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, flooring and paint repairs
- Paint preparation for in‑house and outside vendors
- Tenant interactions
- Work safety
- Full unit turnovers
- Complete work orders of any nature
- Plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs
- First‑story gutter cleaning
- All grounds and interior cleaning
- Replacement of door locks and authorized key copying
- Exterior touch‑up painting and all interior painting
- Parking lot maintenance
- Respond to off‑hour emergencies when notified
- Use of power tools such as power washers, electric drills, plumbing snakes, electric saws, sanders, etc.
- Review and follow equipment and system manuals and maintenance instructions
At least four (4) years’ experience in residential maintenance or a similar trade. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and maintain a Class C license in good standing. Possession of a good driving record and automobile insurance is required. Must be able to supervise staff following standardized procedures and company policies.

- Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs, sit/stand, use of hand tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating power tools, working in inclement weather, driving a motor vehicle.
- Ability to anticipate hazards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
