Job SummaryThe Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the janitorial staff cleans and maintains the client’s premises to the standards set by Flag Ship Holding Company.
Essential Functions- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with constantly changing priorities and high customer demand.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to lead others and motivate people.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team; articulate communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) plus Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bi‑lingual English/Spanish desired.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the janitorial/facilities field.
- Fast‑paced office environment.
- Safety glasses required while performing certain tasks.
- High sense of urgency.
- Small office environment.
- Moderate noise level.
- Exposure to normal office and shop environments.
- Regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking or hearing, and lifting a minimum of 40lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
