OverviewA wonderful long term client of ours is seeking a new housekeeper after the last one we placed 35 years ago is retiring! The client lives by herself and is very active and maintains a busy social calendar. Other staff include an occasional cook and personal assistant. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working as part of the family and looking for a long term role.
ExperienceRequirements
2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references
Educational RequirementsFluency in English
Qualifications- High integrity, strict respect for privacy, and clear communication skills.
- Able to walk up and down multiple stairs
- Execute full charge housekeeping including deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitization across all areas of the residence. Expertly care for high-end finishes, custom surfaces, and fine furnishings.
- Maintain organization of closets, pantries, and storage areas. Ensure rooms are always neatly staged and welcoming for family and guests.
- Work collaboratively with the private chef during family gatherings. Assist with clearing tables, loading and unloading the dishwashers, washing delicate ware, and performing kitchen cleanup.
- Handle daily household laundry, including standard garments, fine linens, towels, and delicate fabrics. Perform steaming, ironing, and proper storage.
- Welcome family that visit the home occasionally. Ensure common areas remain entirely clear of pet hair and tracks.
