Overview
Location:
5010 State Highway 121, Frisco, Texas 75034.
Summary:
Responsible for moving, cleaning vehicles, and performing various tasks and errands for the dealership. The Porter will deliver cars, maintain the lot, and support dealership operations.
- Move cars and deliver them to customers.
- Keep the car lot clean and orderly.
- Run errands throughout the dealership.
- Maintain CSI at or above company standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Participate in required training.
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate the company’s core values.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Observe all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s, or higher. - Preferred field of study:
Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology. - Desired work experience: up to 3years mandatory; 3–5years or 5+years desirable.
- Valid driver’s license; automobile salesperson license preferred.
- Basic computer skills for timekeeping system.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Effective communication with customers and coworkers.
- Attendance:
Regular and predictable attendance; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Physical ability to lift up to 50pounds and frequent movement around the dealership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out instructions and deal with standardized situations.
The position requires the employee to lift up to 50 pounds, move frequently around the dealership and outdoor car lot, and stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear regularly.
Attendance ExpectationsRegular and predictable attendance required; scheduled shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
