Under administrative direction, the Terminal Systems Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that Airport-owned Terminal Systems such as passenger processing system (PPS), information displays (IDS), Airport resource allocations and other shared-use equipment are operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner through evaluations and inspections. This position will ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement by evaluating work completed by contractors and track how systems are operated and maintained as well as compliance with Airport rules and standards.
Theessential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure Airport-owned Terminal Systems equipment and technologies are operating and maintained in a safe and efficient manner through evaluation and inspections.
- Evaluate functionality of Airport systems by developing reports and tracking data for compliance with Service Level Agreements.
- Assist in the review, assignment and billing of airport common use resources as well as tracking of common use equipment and consumable stock inventories.
- Monitor the allocation of commons use resources to ensure optimal utilization as well as helpdesk tickets and response and provide follow-up actions to ensure system efficiency.
- Submit work orders to facilities department and contractors to ensure equipment and systems are maintained efficiently.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of system rules and verifying the system application performance is functioning as intended. Upload Quarterly Standard Schedules Information Manual (SSIM) into resource management system (RMS) and Airport Operation Data base (AODB).
- Work with the AIOC (Airport integrated Operations Center) in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships to ensure system utilization with contract service provides, airlines, and other Airport stakeholders.
