Compensation: $45.00 – $77.00 per hour + Plus benefits (eligible Day One) and $5,000 Sign-On Bonus*

Flexcar is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Master Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs while supporting shop workflow and mentoring technicians.

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with California law, including:

• Daily overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workday

• Double time for hours worked over 12 in a workday

• Overtime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdays

• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems (electrical, drivability, HVAC, engine, drivetrain, braking systems)
• Perform complex troubleshooting and technical analysis
• Accurately document repair orders and maintain service records
• Train, mentor, and support development of junior technicians
• Assist with workflow prioritization and shop efficiency
• Maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA safety standards
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with site leadership on scheduling and inventory planning

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on automotive repair experience
• ASE Master Technician Certification (L1 preferred) or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to use diagnostic platforms and shop management systems
• Ability to use basic Microsoft Excel functions
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs

• Lifting and moving up to 75 pounds
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working under vehicles
• Working in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Safe operation of automotive tools and shop equipment

The hourly pay range for this position in California is $45.00 – $77.00 per hour. The range reflects the reasonably expected pay range for this role within California. Actual compensation will be determined based on:

• Relevant experience
• Certifications
• Skills and competencies
• Geographic location
• Internal equity considerations

This position is paid on an hourly basis and is eligible for overtime in accordance with California wage and hour laws.
