Housekeeper - Full-Time

Canyon Springs Post-Acute Pay Range: $18.45-$19.00 per hour Full Benefits Available

Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will play an important part in supporting the health, well-being, and overall experience of those we serve.

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Dust furniture, handrails, windowsills, and other fixtures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and common areas according to facility standards.
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
• Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Safely use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and cleaning equipment organized and sanitary.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or related setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
