Choicelunch champions the joy of a school kid's day by handling every meal with care. Starting pay is $19.00. Part-time hours are Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Our San Jose facility is a high-volume fulfillment and distribution environment hiring energetic and quality-oriented team members. Full-time and part-time positions follow the school year calendar, perfect for enjoying holidays off.

Your Role at San Jose:
In our high-velocity fulfillment hub, you are the keystone. Be the energy and precision behind every package.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Varied Tasks:
  You're versatile - pivoting across tasks as required.
• Kitchen Support:
  Sometimes, you'll be the added hand in the kitchen.
• Safety First:
  Maintain cleanliness and safety. Be at home in varied temperature zones. Follow proper guidelines while working with ovens.
• English proficiency:
  Reading and writing.
• Additional Functions and Responsibilities:
  Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No prior experience or skills are required: however, a CA Food Handlers Certificate is a plus
• Education:
  
  High School equivalent education
• Language:
  You are able to read and write in English

Physical Nitty-Gritties:

• Mobility:
  Move, walk, reach, stoop, bend, push, pull, talk or hear. You're always on the go and communicating with team members, supervisors and leads.
• Strength:
  Lift packages, occasionally, these can be up to 50 lbs. Be prepared to maneuver oven racks and HFBs upwards of 250 lbs safely and operate lift gates
• Environment:
  Mostly warehouse settings with moderate noise level. Sometimes, you might feel the chill of the walk-in refrigerator/freezer or heat of the ovens.
• Specific vision abilities: requires close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
