Job Summary
This position is responsible for all movement of equipment in and out of the equipment yard, including preparing equipment for delivery to customers, checking in returned equipment, and managing inventory at the location. Other duties may include general facility maintenance.
Salary Range$28.50 – $32.00 hourly, $59,000.00 – $66,000.00 annually (company wide)

- Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): 100% company funded, participates after 1 year of service (at least 1,000 hours).
- Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure road safety.
- Pull orders to match manifests.
- Load trucks with daily merchandise to be delivered and unload merchandise for customers.
- Ensure proper load securement on truck and trailer.
- Ensure that manifests are complete and accurate.
- Plan routes to and from customer job sites and adjust for traffic and/or construction.
- Deliver merchandise to customers and contact customers if they are not present.
- Note any damage to items being returned from customers.
- Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to resolve customer issues.
- Instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures, as required.
- Routinely be on customer job sites, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe demonstration of loading and unloading techniques.
- Warehouse duties as assigned.
- General weekly cleanup of front offices and warehouse facilities.
- Organize tools, materials, and other miscellaneous items stored in the yard per the defined yard layout for the location.
- Put tools and materials away on shelves in an orderly manner.
- Maintain long‑standing equipment in the yard such as low air pressure, cracked windows, reporting other damage or leaks.
- Clean equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong mechanical skills; good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to tow and generally operate a trailer.
- Forklift certification.

The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
The work environment is a professional office environment where employees use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This role is not performed remotely and requires completion of work in an office or job site setting.
