Custodial Specialist

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment for MWT facilities. Performs routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, restocking supplies, and trash removal.

Key Responsibilities &

Essential Functions:

* Perform routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) for assigned office locations

* Responsible for physical upkeep of multiple buildings. Cleans offices, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, and conference rooms.

* Performs general exterior cleaning of all facilities. Cleans windows and exterior areas.

* Removes all recycling items, trash.

* Report maintenance issues or safety hazards

* Re-stocks soap, paper towels and toilet paper dispensers, and general supplies.

Qualifications &

Key Requirements:

Entry support individual contributor position performing administrative or specialized tasks in support of daily business activities.

Works under direct supervision on routine tasks and follows standard procedures with very little independent judgement.

Work Experience:

* 0+ years of experience generally expected

* Experience in custodial work

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and proper cleaning chemical application - Required

* Operate basic cleaning equipment - Required

* Ability to work at a steady, diligent pace to complete assigned duties within allotted timeframe and quality standards - Required

* Ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision - Required

* Attention to detail - Required

Education:

* HS Diploma or GED - Required

Licenses/Certifications:

Physical Demands &

Working Conditions:

* Travel by car or plane with overnight stays

* Regularly lift 20 lbs. or more

* Work extended hours and/or rotating schedules

* Work in disagreeable conditions, such as extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and dirt

* Stand / walk for extended periods. Stoop; climb a ladder
