Your Role and Impact

The Neighborhood Service Manager is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property.

• Leadership – Establish positive, productive relationships with neighborhood staff; hire, train, mentor, resolve problems, and act in the best interest of the neighborhood.
• Neighborhood Management – Manage the budget and cost‑effective maintenance functions; oversee safety training, capital projects, vendor and contractor management, and inventory maintenance.
• Upholding Standards – Serve as the knowledge holder of company policies and model compliance with rules and regulations for safe and effective operation.

• Experience – Minimum five years in apartment maintenance and at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Customer Service – Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, neighbors, and the general public.
• Availability – Willing to work beyond a 9‑to‑5 schedule and on‑call to support the team and neighborhood.
• Education – High‑school diploma or GED required, plus a minimum of three certificates from related institutions (e.g., BOMA, IREM, vocational programs).
• Safety – Working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Physical Requirements – Standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, visual acuity; able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

The provided salary range is based on location, job‑related skills, experience, and qualifications.

• Pay Range: $40.25 to $44.00 per hour
