Maintenance Supervisor-Property Mgr

A growing property management organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Property Management for a direct hire opportunity in the San Ramon, CA area. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys overseeing daily property operations, supporting maintenance technicians, coordinating vendors, and helping ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for residents or tenants. • Oversee daily maintenance operations, including service requests, repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and overall property upkeep.
• Lead, train, schedule, and support maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and outside contractors to manage projects, repairs, service contracts, and performance expectations.
• Partner with the Property Manager on maintenance planning, budgeting support, compliance needs, inspections, and operational priorities.
• Perform or supervise hands-on maintenance work involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, general repairs, and building systems.
• Ensure safety policies, maintenance procedures, building standards, and documentation practices are followed consistently.

• Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

• Oversee maintenance operations for a residential or commercial property portfolio.
• Lead maintenance technicians and coordinate daily service request completion.
• Manage vendor coordination, contractor performance, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Support property management leadership with planning, compliance, safety, and operational priorities.
• 3 to 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in property management, real estate, facilities, or a related environment.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repairs, painting, drywall, and preventative maintenance.
• Experience supervising, training, scheduling, or mentoring maintenance technicians.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, service contracts, project timelines, and contractor work quality.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Commitment to safety, customer service, accountability, and maintaining high property standards.

• Experience supporting residential, multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use property maintenance operations.
• Prior experience partnering closely with Property Managers on budgets, inspections, capital projects, or compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with property management maintenance software, work order systems, or digital service request tracking.
• Trade certifications, EPA certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training are helpful.
