Cardinal Staffing is seeking a Line Mechanic in the Sandusky, OH area.

Our client is a thriving bakery and food production company that specializes in the creation and distribution of innovative baked goods and confections. With a focus on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled Line Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

As a Line Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the production equipment that is essential to our bakery operations. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our manufacturing processes, allowing us to consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers.

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment, including mixers, ovens, packaging machines, and other specialized machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement effective repair solutions
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain optimal line performance
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with special projects or tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the bakery

- 2-3 years of experience as a Line Mechanic or in a similar industrial maintenance role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

This position is based in our production facility. The work environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, with exposure to noise, heat, and potential hazards associated with industrial equipment. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a team-oriented environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
