Responsibilities:

• Duties in general building maintenance, including but not limited to: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and specifically a strong background in HVAC repair and maintenance.
• Must be able to use a computerized maintenance management system.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current/valid MA Driver's License.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, grounds equipment and facilities maintenance techniques.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment.
• Ability to perform all functions of the job requiring independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to work with computers/technology, lift 50 lbs, be comfortable in confined spaces and work in all weather conditions, be comfortable traversing across campus.
• Must have the physical mobility and stamina to perform all duties required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Pay Range: currently $26.21-$31.43 per hour on an 8 step scale per CBA for Custodians, Grounds, Maintenance Association.

Position Type: Full-Time

• At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
