Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

1st Shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call required. Position located in Lavonia, GA.

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the MaintainX system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the Multisite Operational Excellence Manager to optimize equipment performance.
• Order parts and maintain inventory; ensure proper functionality of building systems.
• Assist in training new maintenance personnel.

Education

• Required:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred:
  Associate’s in a related field

Experience

• Required:
  
  5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Preferred: 2+ years of supervisory experience

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

Technical Skills

Certifications/Licenses

• Preferred: HVAC certification

Other Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing
