Daily Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings and facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co‑workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Utilizes ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, blinds and select equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts light fixtures and ceiling vents.
• Removes stains from surfaces such as carpet, drapes/shades, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Prepares cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot‑cleaning treatment.
• Gathers trash and empties appropriate trash and recycling bins.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Keeps janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintains equipment in good working order.
• Monitors building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
• Drives vehicles (if required) to other facilities to clean, including vans, industrial trucks, golf carts, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Provides special cleaning and support during client events, as needed.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials and authorization; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• No sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (may be required).
• Physical requirements:
  
  repetitive motions (bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement), extensive walking, regular lifting up to 30 lbs, work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions, color‑coded cleaning microfiber clothes and mops, wearing steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as needed.

$16.00 per hour. The compensation range or hourly rate listed is intended as a good‑faith estimate of the company’s offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, market data, and applicable laws.
