Inventory Associate

Job Description

As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility and the timely delivery of medical devices and instruments to our customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Pick, pack and prepares shipments; determine most economical and efficient shipping method; select appropriate shipping container; pack items to ensure safe delivery
• Receive incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
• Compile and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for compliance with specifications and usage
• Maintain records of damaged, defective, shortages, and expired products using inventory systems
• Work with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (e.g., loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
• Maintain inventory control through ERP system
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Accommodate changes that a fast-growing start up company requires
• Provide support for Customer Service and Operation teams

• Must be available Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
• Develop and streamline current procedures
• Ensure product is efficiently shipped, processed, and handled
• Develop a working knowledge of our customers and their needs
• Set up and manage needed logistics in order to control inventory
• Maintain organization and a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping/handling preferred
• Experience with medical devices preferred
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Basic computer skills. Experience with ERP/Inventory software preferred
• The desire to perform job duties in a fast pace, quick changing entrepreneurial environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
