Location: Salt Lake County / Utah County (servicing 4 retail stores + main office)
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25–35 hours per week
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Hours: Typically 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with occasional extension of 1+ hours depending on business needs and seasonal demands
Reports to: Logistics Manager
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Handyman/Driver to join our team. This is a versatile role that combines general maintenance, deliveries, and warehouse support across our locations. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks, and takes pride in doing every job well.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform handyman and basic maintenance work at our 4 retail stores and main office, including (but not limited to):
- Repairing or replacing locks, doors, and hardware
- Changing light bulbs, ballasts, and basic electrical fixtures
- Minor plumbing, painting, assembly, and general repairs
- Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues as they arise
- Make regular merchandise deliveries from our Sandy headquarters to store locations
- Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, organizing, and moving inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all company vehicles (washing, interior cleaning, and basic upkeep)
- Be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks as needed — this role often involves a variety of unexpected requests and problem-solving throughout the day
- Strong handyman skills with the ability to handle a wide range of maintenance tasks
- Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, box trucks, etc.)
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes/items up to 70 lbs
- Clean driving record (will be verified)
- Ability to pass an extensive background check
Reliable morning/daytime availability (8:00 AM start time) - Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Positive, can-do mindset and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Previous forklift experience
- General construction or maintenance background
- Familiarity with the Salt Lake and Utah County areas
